Great Science Sites for Teachers and Students

Science is something that is often difficult to organise in the classroom due to time, mess and often resources.  These web sites have some great little practical exercises, experiments and explanations of scientific events in simple language students and teachers.

e-learning for kids - is full of animated, and interactive science based tasks.

Active Science - Is full of science themed activities targeted at middle years students including teacher notes.

Popular Science - contains some quirky science to spark interest in science in your classroom.

PBS Kids Science - Some simple science experiments to explore how and why things occur in the world of Science.

let me know if you have any more that need to be included.

My Delicious Links for 2009

As we approach the end of the Academic year down here in Oz I have just finished tidying up my delicious account that has over 400 fresh and working links all tagged to literacy, numeracy, age group, topic and VELS ( VELS is the Victorian Curriculum Standards) I hope you find them useful and remember to keep revisiting them here.

Hyperlinking could be described as the most useful skill you can learn on an internet based computer allowing you to directly link to any file, program or website around the world in a single click. Make sure you and your kids know how to do it.
