Apple offers 50 percent discount to schools for Educational Apps

If the iPod, iPhone or iPad are ever to become mainstream educational tools then the problem of volume licensing needs to be addressed.  Today Apple have gone someway to making this happen for app creators who want to sell their application to an educational institution at a heavily discounted rate.
