500 iPad's distributed in statewide trial.

I wrote an article not so long ago about how the iPad had a few shortfalls in working in an educational environment.  Apple them self have admitted "it's not quite there' as an educational tool just yet.  Hats off nonetheless to the Victorian State government for releasing 500 of these into our schools to see if and how they can enhance learning.  We will watch with enthusiasm.  Needless to say my school was not one of the trial schools selected.  The full article explaining the rollout of iPad's trial can be viewed here.
